Yes my college has all the necessary facilities and equipments available for students. We have fully air conditioned classroom with Wi-Fi and projector LED screens also available. And everything is used regularly for the studies purpose and also for the presentations. Cleanliness is also visible in every corner of the department and the food provided is also very hygienic and tasty.
I am pursuing my masters from here and having a commerce background my main reason to pursue this course was to enhance my future growth and also for the monetary benefits. The teachers here are extremely talented and they also help you to deal with your studies till the last mile. Curriculum is up to date and includes all the basic requirements for today's industry standards.
The quality of placements this year was quite decent and around 67% of the students were placed from the batch 2021-23 and the highest package offered was of 14.5 LPA and it was offered to the finance specialisation of the MBA course. Average package offered was around 6-7 LPA and the overall placement process was moderate not easy . College was overall very supportive in terms of dealing with the companies.
My course costs around 1,20,000 per year and it's definitely worth it because with an investment of around 3 lakhs we are getting an average package of 6-7 LPA.
College campus is very pleasant because of the greenary and students can also engage in many other curricular activities like sports and technology etc.
BEST INFRASTRUCTURE EVER. ALL THE FACILITY FOR STUDENT ARE AVAILABLE THERE. GOOD LIBRARY, COMPUTER CENTRE, PLAY GROUND, OPEN AIR THEATER, SWIMMING POOL, CONFERENCE HALL, AC CLASSROOMS, ETC. VERY WELL MAINTAINED CAMPUS.
I AM STUDYING B.TECH CIVIL ENGINEERING. IT IS A FOUR YEAR COURSE COVERING ALL THE DIMENSIONS OF CIVIL ENGINEERING. MANY THINGS ARE UPDATED IN SYLLABUS WHEREAS SOME OLD THINGS ARE ALSO TAUGHT WHICH I THINK NEED TO BE UPDATED. OVERALL GOOD EXPERIENCE.
PLACEMENTS ARE GOOD ENOUGH. THE COLLEGE HAS GOOD REPUTATION IN MARKET SO MANY COMPANIES VISIT OUR CAMPUS. IF SOMEONE HAS PREPARED WELL THEN HE WILL SURELY GET A GOOD PLACEMENT. AROUND 80-90 PERCENT STUDENTS GET PLACED. THIS IS NOT THE CASE WITH CIVIL ENGINEERING BRANCH. HERE ONLY 50-60 PERCENT STUDENTS GET PLACEMENT.
MY COURSE COST ME AROUND 1.7 LAKH PER YEAR. THE GOOD INFRASTRUCTURE, PROFESSORS, FACILITIES, ETC MAKES THIS COLLEGE A GOOD VALUE FOR MONEY. ALTHOUGH THE FEE IS 1.5 FOR GENERAL STUDENTS BUT YOU CAN GET CONCESSION BASED UPON THE ANNUAL FAMILY INCOME. OVERALL A GOOD INVESTMENT.
THE BEST FEATURES OF CAMPUS - OPEN AIR THEATER, LIBRARY, COMPUTER CENTRE, VEGETATION, FESTS, COMPETITIONS, ETC. VERY ENGAGING TECHNICAL AND CULTURAL EVENTS ARE DONE. TECHSPARDHA IS A FAMOUS TECHNICAL EVENT AND UTKARSH AND CONFLUENCE ARE CULTURAL EVENTS. SPORTS EVENT LIKE - ITUSA, CITIUS AND INTER NIT SPORTS TOURNAMENT.
TAKE ANY BRANCH OTHER THAN CIVIL ENGINEERING. AND NOT ONLY DO STUDIES ALL THE TIME BUT ALSO PARTICIPATE IN OTHER CULTURAL AND TECHNICAL EVENTS. A GOOD SCOPE OF GOING FOR HIGHER LIKE M.TECH, PHD, MBA, MSC, ETC.
Nit Kurukshetra has great infrastructure and electrical has largest department . Classroom are large having boards and smartboards both . You never feel bored . Overall there are lot of building we have Jubilee Hall , CCN Labs , Two or three chemistry labs and physics labs we have the languages lab too.
Professors are brilliant , have done their Phd. from different IITs and NITs . There are only few teachers who teach properly and with interest .Others come read ppts and go , so for exams you have to everything yourself but you got lot help from your seniors so don't worry about studies, there is not very ,much pressure regarding studies.
Don't worry regarding placements , everyone who wants placement got placed . But if you want higher packages you have to work hard . You can check Placements data from different websites but overall placement is good and in cse and it department we have actually very high average packages even comparing to some IITs .
Cost details vary for different castes and groups which you can check on nit kurukshetra website . But if you ask from me I think it is worth rather than any private colleges .
This is the best part of the college you never feel bored . Campus has actually a very good vibe we have lakes, greenery , inner canteens and OAT , ecotracks ,swimming pools , and also you do much fun here with your collegues and seniors and superseniors if you get a chance to meet them . A lot of clubs and groups are here in nit whers you do parties and functions with your seniors and live and make memorable moments .
I suggest you to come to the college if you get a chance you will never ever regret in your life after come to this college.
Our college has almost all the necessary infrastructure facilities,i.e.-Hostel, Classroom, laboratories, libraries, sports centre with their different games community,WIFI,smart boards. Here living quality is good and food level of hostel is average.
I am studying of computer science like computer language, software engineering. And quality of teaching is good but not very good. Here Book quality is poor whose provided by library .Here per semester time is 4-5 months.odd semester exam held in December and even semester exam held in may. Here quality of students and professors is very good . Currently need to development improvement of IT teaching level is very important.
The quality of palcement is good at nit kurukshetra, the placement percentage of students is atleast above 80% per year and the average salary of IT and CS is 20 lac per year and minimum 10 lac per year.
Our course cost per year is above 1.5 lacs but for ST, SC category has reservation in fess structure (0% fees of tution fees) and for OBC and EWS only give 25% fees. I am not getting money's worth due to scholarship and 0% tution fees because i am belongs to ST category.
College campus is very best but miss city because city quality of kurukshetra is no good. Here Students engage in many activities like that sports every game, yoga, ncc, nss, dancing, singing, cultural fest, technical fest.
NIT KURUKSHETRA has a large area i.e. nearly spread in 300 acres with different type of building's structures. Starting with the hostel's buildings, well structured with all facilities including indoor/outdoor games with proper ventilation, LAN/Wi-Fi services and washrooms are cleaned everyday. Classrooms and labs are properly furnished and well spacious along with AC in every single classroom with smart board. Here is a huge sports ground, swimming pool and structured administrative buildings.
Currently, I am in my final year of my B.Tech. in civil engineering, as it has more scope in government jobs. Overall, the teaching curriculum is good enough, with necessary subjects and many supportive professors who are knowledgeable and experienced, but not all are the same. 75% attendance is compulsory to sit for the final semester exam. A large library is also here that provides books for the whole semester. Here, you will be able to get a scholarship if you try well enough.
The placement was quite good last year, but recently, due to the recession, the placement is not as good as earlier. The packages offered by the companies are very low compared to earlier ones for the same company and do not match the expectations of the students. For my branch, up until December, only 20% of students were able to secure placements with a median package of nearly Rs 6 lakhs, while the rest are waiting for better packages. The conditions are also the same for other branches.
For the general category, there is a need for nearly Rs 1 lakh per semester, including academic and hostel expenses. While for OBC, it is Rs 80K per semester, and for the rest category, it is Rs 55K per semester for all courses. It is not as high as if we compare it with other NIT's. If you don't have enough money, then you will be able to easily get a scholarship from institute or an education loan from any bank.
The campus has many sight-seeing places, like a small lake, an open theater, and a jubilee hall. It has many different cafes, confectionary shops, and a juice corner. Students can join any club, society, or sports team. Here are the three main annual festivals held every year: the technical festival, Techspardha, and the cultural festival, Confluence and Utakarsh. Also here was the annual sports meet, namely ITUSA, CITIUS, and INTER NIT. You can participate in each and every festival and sport.
I would like to share my suggestions with those who think that studying is only worth doing in college. You should first get exposure to clubs, societies, and sports teams and join at least two of them, with one being in sports. It will prove useful for your overall development in society and your ability to interact with new people. You already studied too much at the time of your JEE preparation, so its time to explore yourself. So keep studying with fun.

Hello aspirant,
NIT Kurukshetra JEE Main Cutoff 2024 for SC category candidates varies depending on the branch and quota (Home State or Other State). However, based on the previous year's trends, you can expect a cutoff in the range of 300-500 marks for SC female candidates from Haryana to get admission to NIT Kurukshetra.
It's important to note that the actual cutoff may vary depending on several factors, including the difficulty level of the JEE Main exam, the number of applicants, and the number of seats available.
Therefore, it's advisable to aim for a higher score to increase your chances of securing a seat in your desired branch.
I hope this information helps.
Hello,
A rank between 30,000 to 50,000 in category rank would stand an SC female candidate good for some scope at NIT Kurukshetra for Mechanical Engineering through JEE 2025. Admissions would depend significantly on the cutoffs released every year.
In terms of marks, this translates to around a score of 120-150 in JEE Main. Again, this too depends on multiple factors such as how challenging the paper is, how much seat availability, and the extent of applicants. Since the cutoff keeps changing every year, one should target higher and not less; score 150+ for maximal chances of getting your desired branch and institute.
Hello from Careers360,
Thank you for reaching out about NIT Kurukshetra admissions. I appreciate your forward-thinking approach in considering your options for 2025.
Regarding your question about the sufficiency of 150 marks for admission to mechanical, electronics, or electrical engineering at NIT Kurukshetra as an SC female candidate from Punjab, it's important to note that predicting cutoffs for future years can be challenging. Admission trends can change from year to year based on various factors such as the number of applicants, overall performance in the entrance exam, and changes in reservation policies.
That being said, 150 marks is generally considered a competitive score for SC category students. However, the exact cutoffs for 2025 will depend on the competition that year. It's also worth noting that different branches may have different cutoffs, with some being more competitive than others.
To give you a better idea, I'd recommend looking at the cutoff trends for NIT Kurukshetra over the past few years. This information is usually available on their official website or on our Careers360 college page. Analyzing these trends can help you gauge your chances more accurately.
Additionally, as an SC female candidate from Punjab, you may benefit from multiple reservation categories, which could potentially improve your chances of admission.
For the most up-to-date and accurate information, I encourage you to keep an eye on the official NIT Kurukshetra website and the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) website as your target year approaches. These will provide the most reliable data on cutoffs and admission criteria.
