Sports centres very good having gym, basketball court, volleyball, tennis court and badminton court. Hostels are well ventilated, have good mess food, Wifi near all rooms and gym is also inside. I am studying mechanical engineering due to my interest in automobile industry. The quality of teaching is good, but could be enhanced with more practical aspects. Curriculum is up to date and we have many workshops and Siemen's center to do practicals, which further make you job-ready.
Placements are good in our college and for all branches, percentage of students placed is from 85 to 95%. Highest salary package is 54 LPA and it was provided to computer science students. Average salary offered is 7,00,000 per annum plus placement process is easy and pleasant. The placement cell is very supportive.
Semester fees is approx 70,000. For 4 years it will cost you 6 lakhs approximately if you are in a general category. Money is worth it because we get a lot of facilities and good study material with good placements, plus a nationally recognized brand tag.
College has a very big area and the roads are really well maintained. We have a very good academic block with AC, and has various labs excellence labs of Siemens. We have many cultural clubs and technical societies for students to engage in and refine their talents. The teachers and support staff are very kind, humble and always there for you whenever in need. The college is situated a little far from city centre, but has all the required transport and medical facilities to handle any emergency.
Overall college is very good, has very good placements and extra curricular activities which help you to grow into a person ready for the corporate world.
National institute of technology has good infrastructure with well facilities and equipment. All the classroom and outdoor areas are clean and well maintained. All the classes have necessary equipment like white board, projects and sound system.
All the faculty members are great and some of them are PhD holders. They all are dedicated towards the teaching and their teaching methods are also amazing. They were very helpful and always guide us projects.
NIT kurukshetra's quality of placement is great. Many companies like Amazon, Flipkart, Samsung, HCL, TCS and others came to the college for selection. Arround 70% students getting placement from the IT branch.

I m studing production and industrial engineering I chooses it because it was easy compared to other brances also I was not very interested in coding . Yap curriculum is updated .and yes my education makes me job ready .
Unlike other years due to covid placement scenario was quite different . Average package and percentage placement are reduced . About 50 percent of the students got placed in my branch and the highest package was around 20 lakh Average salary offered is around 6 lkah and yes college is supportive and placement process is pleasent also.
It's more than 1 lakh per year and money is not that worth it due to online semester but I m preety sure that it's going to be worth it in offline mode . Where we will be having an overall personality development .
Students are engaged in all the activities small or big . Staff and students are supportive always there 24 * 7 . It's location is very well , in kurukshetra district and campus is amazing wondéland for me . Yap medical facilities are available .and it's safe too .
Yap wishing for colleges to open soon and students to enjoy life .
Good Infrastructure with well facilities and equipment. All the laboratories and classroom are net and Clean. Most important food in the hostels are hygienic. All the hostels are well maintained. Facilities in hostel are good.
The updated curriculum is very nice. There are 6 departmental subjects in first year of Computer Engineering. Most of the college teaches Data Structures in 2nd year but in NIT Kurukshetra you will learn Data Structures in 1st year.
NIT KKR are great at placement. Most of the top companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Flipkart, Goldman sachs ,Samsung etc visits campus for placement. The average package for Computer Science and Information Technology are nice.
For DASA students fee is high.
NIT KKR campus life is very nice.
Infrasturucture of the college is great .It has got good hostels for girls ,boys and Phd scholars as well. A very good indoor badminton court is provided and a sports complex is there for various games .24*7 library , good laborataries for physics and chemistry . Hostels have wifi , mess, canteens each. The living place is clean and hygienic.
I pursue B.Tech incivil engineering . The college has got good no. of experienced Professors and they teach good. They prepare us for the competitive world outside . The acedemic syllabus is updated alternate years.
The quality of placement at my college is good. 60-70 %students get placed .highest salary package was 26lakh per anum for cs. average salary offered 40k monthly. yes the placement procedures were easy . The college has been pretty supportive.
My course cost 24k per year. Yes i feel I am getting my money because of the facilities provided by the college.
It has got a good campus. good feature for us is that for boys the campus is 24*7 free to roam but for girls timing is 8 pm. The location is 10 mins far from the main kurukshetra town. U can get everything easily.
Yes, National Institute of Technology, Kurukshetra has all the necessary facilities and equipments. We had a samsung smart board and white board in the classroom. We had a huge library with a citing capacity of nearly 800 students at a time . There are ample number of books available in the library, if your subject related book is not available then it will be made available with some simple procedures. We had a huge sports ground but Lawn Tennis Court is below average. All campus is neat&clean.
I am currently pursuing my B.tech in Electrical Engineering. I choosed electrical because I want to go in government sector. Quality of teaching here is above average as some of the faculties are very great and some of them even not interested to teaching . Our curriculum is not completely up-to-date . NIT Kurukshetra had just collaborate with Siemens and open a Workshop at Campus where students get internship there and also a great exposure of industrial work. Yes, studying here makes job ready
Placements here at Nit, Kurukshetra in Computer Science and IT branch are very Fabulous. IN These two branches nearly all the students gets placed. Electronics and communications is also a good branch in terms of Placements. Overall placement rate is nearly 50 percent combining all the branches. Highest placement was of 40 LPA in IT branch. Average package was of 7lakh in 2020. Placement process is very supportive and pleasant.
As I am from a family which had a annual income between 1 to 5 lakh. So costs me around 70k to 75k per year excluding hostel mess bill. Yes , for this amount of money it will definitely worth it because this college is giving every facility which is needed for growth from a Student to a Professional Being. We had many fest also not that great but one can enjoy a lot if he/she wants. Student will get a lot exposure as many workshops are also organised in our institute.
It's a lush green campus ?. It gave a fantastic view in monsoons. One would only experience it. It's best feature is its beaty and lovely seniors. Seniors here are very supportive. Worst feature is the addiction towards alcohol and drugs like cheap thrillers which is a major problem of almost all colleges in India. Student to teachers ratio here is very good. Almost all teachers are very supportive except few. It is located in Thanesar not in main city Kurukshetra. Yes, it is very safe place .
It's totally depends on an individual that he/she takes that place . If one had a inbuilt nature of joy he/she definitely had Golden years of his/her life spending here. Dance club at Nit Kurukshetra (SUC) is one of the topmost crew of North India. One will had a great learning and experience after joining SUC. Basketball team of Nit Kurukshetra also had a lot of fantastic players.
Our college has a basic infrastructure. We have sufficient resources for the degree (no luxury). We have SmartBoards now but the teachers don't know how to use them yet. Our labs are well equipped. We have a running track, 3 basketball courts, 2 badminton courts, an open field, and a gym. Some of them are maintained while some aren't.
The quality of teaching isn't amazing. The teachers are quite casual and biased. I mean, it is the same for almost all Indian colleges but still. Students cover the syllabus by themselves and the syllabus is rushed towards the end.
Placements, on the other hand, are very decent, along with internships. CS/IT get an average package of 12 LPA. They have 100% Placement stats. Other branches are pretty decent too. We are ranked in the top 10 NITs in India.
My course costs around 80K/Semester. Considering the facilities, hostel quality, and everything, I wouldn't say it is completely worth it. There's a lot of money they have that could be spent on infrastructure to make the college more aesthetic.
Campus life was great only because of the friends I had. We had BMS(a lake) nearby where we could walk every weekend. It is a village so we didn't expect much from the start. But overall, it was good hanging around with people until this pandemic pitched in.
It is a good college for the people around Kurukshetra. Discarding the hostels, the lecture rooms were excellent. The placement is decent. Day scholars are making the maximum of it.
The campus was quite clean and hygienic. We had WiFi in Hostels and a separate computer centre for students who doesn't have laptops they can study there. It was like a second home to me. The facilities were great.
Teachers were great and qualified . I studied Computer Science there. Overall it was good but from research point of view I think the college is still lagging. There should be some research work also in all streams in college. Otherwise the academically it was a great place to be there.
Being from NIT or IIT , you won't be having much problem in placements . For CS and IT , almost all top IIT's and NIT's have 100% placements. Every student get placed in a very good company with a handsome salary and other perks. Even in the covid time being from NIT helped me a lot .
The fee depends upon different factors like category, economic condition of your family etc. But I would say these government colleges have very less fee as compared to private colleges providing the same degree. And to be very honest it was worth every penny.
Campus life was amazing. We had cafeteria , market , ground and OAT(open Air Theatre) as our best places to hangout with our friends. We had a gym too . We had a medical center on the campus for any emergency and an ambulance and a tight security. The campus was very safe no ragging at all. Seniors were quite supportive.
I just love the campus. Would love to go there again.
Ya,my college have good infrastructure and all facilities. We have smart boards,AC's and well maintained benches in our college and all the staff in hostel too are understanding and helpful. Hostels are well maintained and regularly taken care of.
I am studying Mechanical Engineering. It's an national level institute and stidents gets admission by cracking JEE Mains. Academics is very nice. All the professors are very nice and teaches nicely and makes sure that we understands.
Placements are good enough. If someone studies enough understood his course then he/she could get their dream job. It's all depends on the students, college is fighting tough from their side.We can't ignore that.
Ya, I think it's really value of money.
Amazing campus life.
It's amazing.
Nice, calm environment, building are old but it is developing/paint, whenever some minister will come. Other co-curricular activities are also good , helps to be college life perfect if you take part .
Highly undedicated teachers, they teach you , but not helps to make project. Few are dedicated. I individually think so that together so much theory , there must be 4-5 advance project per sem. Hope so it will happen in future.
Still studying, hope so it will lead to better. College will confuse which passion to follow , you have to decide in which career you have shape your future. But college has strong contacts in placement
Decide after placement
Nice, but covid destroys it
Hello aspirant,
NIT Kurukshetra JEE Main Cutoff 2024 for SC category candidates varies depending on the branch and quota (Home State or Other State). However, based on the previous year's trends, you can expect a cutoff in the range of 300-500 marks for SC female candidates from Haryana to get admission to NIT Kurukshetra.
It's important to note that the actual cutoff may vary depending on several factors, including the difficulty level of the JEE Main exam, the number of applicants, and the number of seats available.
Therefore, it's advisable to aim for a higher score to increase your chances of securing a seat in your desired branch.
I hope this information helps.
Hello,
A rank between 30,000 to 50,000 in category rank would stand an SC female candidate good for some scope at NIT Kurukshetra for Mechanical Engineering through JEE 2025. Admissions would depend significantly on the cutoffs released every year.
In terms of marks, this translates to around a score of 120-150 in JEE Main. Again, this too depends on multiple factors such as how challenging the paper is, how much seat availability, and the extent of applicants. Since the cutoff keeps changing every year, one should target higher and not less; score 150+ for maximal chances of getting your desired branch and institute.
Hello from Careers360,

Regarding your question about the sufficiency of 150 marks for admission to mechanical, electronics, or electrical engineering at NIT Kurukshetra as an SC female candidate from Punjab, it's important to note that predicting cutoffs for future years can be challenging. Admission trends can change from year to year based on various factors such as the number of applicants, overall performance in the entrance exam, and changes in reservation policies.
That being said, 150 marks is generally considered a competitive score for SC category students. However, the exact cutoffs for 2025 will depend on the competition that year. It's also worth noting that different branches may have different cutoffs, with some being more competitive than others.
To give you a better idea, I'd recommend looking at the cutoff trends for NIT Kurukshetra over the past few years. This information is usually available on their official website or on our Careers360 college page. Analyzing these trends can help you gauge your chances more accurately.
