The students , teachers and support staff are really good, location is also good , the famous brahmsarovar temple is only 1.5 km from the campus. Yes the area is quite safe. Yes it can handle emergencies.

I'm second year student of btech cs. Faculty are really good and they are really Hard working . Teachers are solving our queries on daily basis , some teachers are taking extra classes as we are students of maths hons so we have lots of doubts . So maths department is one the best department
I don't have much experience about college placement but our college placement cell is very active .Many reputed companies are come every year to give chance to students. Highest package is 5-6 LPA and Lowest is 2-3 LPA.
My course fee is 1.4l per year and it is completely affordable . I'm also satisfied with my college free structure because they provide us all the facilities . So it is totally worth it.

All the curriculum is well updated and includes all the developments in the field. Studying here is not only making me job ready but also is enhancing my skills in every aspect of life.
The college placements are so well warming and According to me there are very few or no reason that one can give for not opting this college. The placements are about 99% with an average package of about 10 LPA. The placement process was quite moderate .
Yes, for sure it is value for money. Being a government college, there is no doubt that this can be the best and perfect option. I think one can't keep it as an option, It should be the priority
Campus life is also good. The college focuses on self study and not forcing the student. Here one can really feel and decide the right path and bright future ahead
Classrooms are really good with digital boards and are air-conditioned. White screens are available for presentations. In hostels, LAN is available with a good speed and fair connectivity. The library is satisfactory. Hostels are the best part of our college. Mess food is delicious and hygienic. A sports ground very good with a running track 400m is also there. We have a healthcare centre on the campus with an ambulance service.
The course curriculum is good. Faculty members are also helpful. Labs are good, and professors will guide you regarding the course. Attendance is an issue, so you need to maintain a minimum of 75% for obvious reasons. However, faculty member is co-operative and helpful.
Our college placement rate is good. The average salary package offered ranges 7LPA to 8LPA. Top recruiters of our college are Maruti Suzuki, Hero, Bajaj and many more. Internships rate is less due to COVID-19 pandemic. Still the college is putting efforts to avail various projects to students.
Tuition fee is the same for all NIT i.e. Rs. 62500/-. Further, the fee depends on family income. So, you have to pay according to your family income. The mess charges are separately paid monthly. Monthly charges of mess are Rs. 3500/- to 5000/-
The best features of college are that you get everything in the college. For enjoyment, there are 2 main fests Techspardha and Confluence which is too good. All the seniors, teachers and support staff are friendly and co-operative. The college location is safe.
Requires more development. The hostels given to first yearites especially needs a lot of serious attention. The department infrastructure is pretty reasonable and good. The new hostels are pretty good.
Extensive and good syllabus. You wil be able to learn industry specific knowledge and fill your brains with the required skills of your branch specifically. Baaki toh sab bohot achcha hi hai. Teachers vagerah achche hai.
Excellent placements that i have heard of by my seniors as of now. Even the professors keep talking about the institute placements and let me tell u they are very proud of the placement records. Core and non core both are good.
Great experience with very less money. The fees is comparatively lower than other colleges and wont be a serious burden on you or your family either. Baaki its a very small investment for a bright future, remember that.
Best part of my life till now.. It has been only a year here and believe me sab kuchch bohot achcha rha hai yahan par. The friends, seniors and few professors are remarkable. They will add cherry on top your campus cake.
NIT Kurukshetra currently has a single sports complex with an outdoor badminton court, basketball court and volleyball court. College has a swimming pool too which stays closed during winter, for obvious reasons. Most classrooms don't have smartboards yet, we were mostly taught on blackboards and through projectors. Air conditioners were installed in classrooms. Campus wasn't fully wifi. Laboratories were seeing some updates too. Mess food is average; some hostels are better than others.
I studied Electronics and Communications Engineering; 2k15-19. Personally, I found some teachers amazing, but they were few to count. Efforts were being made to update the curriculum, ECE received accreditation too; institute's director were humble and passionate for bringing every change. The curriculum though would help you build the necessary temperament, but it won't make you industry ready. Clubs, groups, etc. can be seen around teaching industry-relevant skills through workshops, etc.
Number of companies visiting campus for you will depend on your branch. As per the market need, Computer and IT branches had most companies coming for them, ECE could sit for most of them, Electrical was allowed in some lucky stroke, rest branches had a different set of companies. I have seen computer students working too hard for placements, getting rejected multiple times, etc., though some with exceptional knowledge or great academic record can get the job quickly.
All facilities and faculties combined, I personally felt it was worth it.
It's a subjective one. I really enjoyed my college life. There are loads of interest groups, clubs, etc. to join. Some teachers would haunt students with fear of failure. You can't perform well all the time; navigating through lows and highs becomes a learning journey. Seniors are helpful. When you enter college, you are too young to know your core interests and personality, so if your interests switch, worry not, you can take up your desired career even after engineering.
College is a journey. Everyone is not same. Take advice from people you resonate with. Behind the curtains, everyone has their rough times; be aware of your feelings. With all my knowledge about life, what matters in long term is your mental health. Even if you think you are worrying irrationally or feeling unecessarily, express it to someone you trust, reach out to mental health facilitity in the college, N.I.T., Kkr had a professional hired for this. I believe, therapy is essential for all.
The college has very well maintained infrastructure. It has classrooms equipped with ACs and smart board, library and book bank, gymnasium, swimming pool, laboratories, separate hostels for boys and girls and wifi for students. The food in hostel is good and healthy.
I am studying Production and industrial engineering here. The teachers are expert in their specialization and the curriculum is little updated. There is a training and placement cell which trains the candidates and makes them ready for job.
The placement of the last year was outstanding especially with CSE and IT. Other branches have seen moderate placement. Almost all tech and non-tech companies visit the campus for recruitment. The average salary for most branches is between 5 to 6 lpa.
The campus is very vast covering 293 acre area and is green and beautiful. It is located in the holy city of Kurukshetra and nearby brahm Sarovar. There are many clubs and societies inside the campus. Also you will find several canteens within it.
This is a good college for your all round development.

Hello aspirant,
NIT Kurukshetra JEE Main Cutoff 2024 for SC category candidates varies depending on the branch and quota (Home State or Other State). However, based on the previous year's trends, you can expect a cutoff in the range of 300-500 marks for SC female candidates from Haryana to get admission to NIT Kurukshetra.
It's important to note that the actual cutoff may vary depending on several factors, including the difficulty level of the JEE Main exam, the number of applicants, and the number of seats available.
Therefore, it's advisable to aim for a higher score to increase your chances of securing a seat in your desired branch.
I hope this information helps.
Hello,
A rank between 30,000 to 50,000 in category rank would stand an SC female candidate good for some scope at NIT Kurukshetra for Mechanical Engineering through JEE 2025. Admissions would depend significantly on the cutoffs released every year.
In terms of marks, this translates to around a score of 120-150 in JEE Main. Again, this too depends on multiple factors such as how challenging the paper is, how much seat availability, and the extent of applicants. Since the cutoff keeps changing every year, one should target higher and not less; score 150+ for maximal chances of getting your desired branch and institute.
Hello from Careers360,
Thank you for reaching out about NIT Kurukshetra admissions. I appreciate your forward-thinking approach in considering your options for 2025.
Regarding your question about the sufficiency of 150 marks for admission to mechanical, electronics, or electrical engineering at NIT Kurukshetra as an SC female candidate from Punjab, it's important to note that predicting cutoffs for future years can be challenging. Admission trends can change from year to year based on various factors such as the number of applicants, overall performance in the entrance exam, and changes in reservation policies.
That being said, 150 marks is generally considered a competitive score for SC category students. However, the exact cutoffs for 2025 will depend on the competition that year. It's also worth noting that different branches may have different cutoffs, with some being more competitive than others.
To give you a better idea, I'd recommend looking at the cutoff trends for NIT Kurukshetra over the past few years. This information is usually available on their official website or on our Careers360 college page. Analyzing these trends can help you gauge your chances more accurately.
