NIT K is organising Deep Learning Techniques and Applications - DeLTA 2025 from Feb 26 to Mar 2, 2025.
The JAM 2025 exam will be conducted on February 2, 2025.
College has all basic infrastructure. Some hostels are old. There is facility of WiFi, Smart boards etc. Overall it's better. There is big library, sports ground. More than 10 hostels for boys and 3 for girls.
There is better level of teachings. Good place for research. Of course there is need of better technology and upgradation in this field. Experienced professors. Some are well human being and some are....
Better placement. Almost all students get placed. Average package is about 6-6.5 lakh. More than 250 companies visit every year. Graph of placement is increasing every year. Some famous companies are Microsoft, Google etc.
It's worth to pay fee . Tution fee of one semester is 62500.Mess bill is about 4000 per month.
Best campus life. Everything is there inside campus.
Overall awesome place. Better time better place for learning, fun and msti
The college infrastructure is good but certain improvements are still going on. The classroom is appreciably good. The internet facility is satisfactory in the entire college. Also, the CCN (computing center) is open 24x7. The labs are under improvements with new computers coming in. The campus is way too good, green and well maintained.
I'm currently studying Information Technology. The quality of teaching is appreciable but most of the students focus on self study. The faculties are well experienced and well versed in subjects. The curriculum also updated. The interaction among seniors and juniors is very good and that helps a lot in learning new technologies as we already get some road-map.
The quality of placements are improving every year. The placements are almost 100% for IT and CS. The highest package goes about 47 LPA. As far as I know major IT companies visit every year in the college including Amazon, Flipkart, Samsung, and many more.
Almost all the necessary infrastructure are available,, recently classrooms have been air conditioned. But there is no aur conditioning in the laboratories. Smart boards are there.. not all the professors use them though. Living spaces are clean most of the times. Food is not hygienic.

Almost one lac per year is the fees. However it's not worth it.
Almost everything is fine.
Good infrastructure, nice facilities, outstanding campus. Library, sports centre everything is all right. Food hygiene, living space everything is great. Isse jyda kya likhu bas kro ab. Sb kuch badiya h lelo admission.
Nice curriculum. Everything is fine here. Professor are very very very very supportive. I have never seen such type of professor in my life. Just next level. You will not regret after taking admission.
Good placement. Placement are dream for us and dream comes true. Because placement cell is so hard working. They work too hard to invite companies for placements. That's all from my side. Thank you so much.
Money worthy
Nice campus
Nice college
Back when i joined college in 2016, the infrastructure was really poor with 20 year old buildings standing but recently college is paying attention to this field so infrastructure is improving at a good rate.
Academics is kind of poor as we were made to study the subjects stated in a curriculum which was created decades ago and not updated since.. but recently with the coming of new director thankfully noticeable changes have been made.
Placement for branches CS IT ECE is fairly good as various tech giants like flipkart, amazon, microsoft visits campus for on-campus placements. Whereas for other branches like Mechanical, Civil placement is just average.
Its definitely value for money as it is a govt college with less fees and much better placements as compared to other institutes of the state. :P So basically it is the best engineering college of Haryana.
Campus life is just awesome consisting of a number of national level fests both cultural and technical. And even in sports our college teams has outperformed other colleges at various national level platforms.
Good infrastructure. Pleasing environment. Open air theatre, sports complex, health centre, swimming pool, well established labs and machinery. Clean and green campus. Fully wifi hostels, A.C Computing and networking centre.
Teaching quality is okay. Now new academic curriculum is implemented hope it will create a positive change in student's career. You can do good projects with processors who are already working on some projects.
Many core/software brands visit this campus for recruitment. The placement is good. In core you can get upto 8 lakh/annum starting package. In my batch Electrical Engineering 2015, more thn 85% of eligible students got placed. Many of us got multiple job offers also.
At our time it was around 42500 INR per semester, not its increased to around 70000 INR per semester. Ye I've things worth money. Classrooms are air conditioned, hygenic mess food and fund for various students activities.
Campus life is very awesome. You can learn so much technical and cultural things here. SAE club for Mechanical engineering is the best part of campus here. Good scope for dancers/artists. Also here's good scope for sports person.
Overall good? Clean and green campus, pleasing environment fully wifi hostels, good placements. Safe and friendly campus environment. Major issue with security staff's behaviour and management. Else everything is good.
The institute is good for every student , infrastructure is good ,also they have ac in every class also we have super computer in the department , hostels are also good, digit board is present in every class
Academics is also good in every respect all the new subjects are available, since the syllabus is revised also u have a chance of 6 months internship in nit kkr . Keep studying and teachers give deserving marks
Good placements, placements for cs / it is also good with avg package of 14 lpa , cs / it students have ample opportunities to get placed even in 2 companies , u can check the placement statistics on the website of the institute
Good value
Greate campus life
10
Yes the infrastructure is updated and have all the necessary labs and equipment. And an Lab with the help of ISRO is also under construction under a new scheme of govt. Of India. All the hostels are equiped with LAN/wifi.
Curriculum is recently updated which includes an 6 months internship in 6th semester to give industrial exposure to its students which helps in personality development which helps in campus placements of students.
Placements are very good in nit kurukshetra and they vary with the market situation and requirements last year placements were more than 90% in all the streams. College is very supportive to it's students and nit kkr has a very active placement cell.
Campus is good but city life is not so good
A good campus with well established classrooms and department ;Library Hostels and sports ground. Campus is always clean and well maintained. Labs donot have much equipment and tools but library have all the necessary books. LAN is provided in hostels and wifi facility is available in library and CCN whose bandwidth is good.
Yes I think college needs to develop and re examine the syllabus and provide it in a proper manner. Your efforts ; your hard work and the atmosphere of the college makes you ready for the job. Although college provide you a good platform to be a successful person.
Placements are very good and it is about 90-95 percent with an average package of about 8-10 lakhs. Which is very good in the beginning and maximum package can go upto 25-30 lakhs per annum. College is very supportive and provide a number of companies.
Definitely the value of money. College fee is near about 1.25-1.5 lakhs per year and it vary according to your family annual income. It will worth as you get a good average package from the college and also you are in NIT which is a very big thing.
Awesome campus life and it is the best live I ever live. Students teachers are very good and supportive. Seniors are very caring and juniors are also very good. It is located in the kurukshetra where pollution is less and a good greenery. Safe city to live. Fest of the college and sports meet is very good.
Keep your company good ; you will get many bad friends do not get involved in the bad things and be happy do not take bother about marks so much Good Luck.
Yes nit kurukshetra have all necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipment.fully ac classroom, library and free Wi-Fi to college campus and LAN to hostels. yes there is a sport complex which includes almost all game like cricket, handball, kabbadi, football, volleyball, basketball etc.
I'm studying electrical engineering course because I'm interested in electrical machines and power system. Quality of teaching is good and there is curriculum updated this year with sixth semester as internship for all courses.
Placement of our campus is nice.Good package offer to computer science and information technology course and for core branches average package is above 6lacs per annum.yes placement process is very easy and pleasant to every student and oue college teacher supportive in Nature.
Course cost of student depend on its financial condition of family and category. I think our institute provide facilities which is more than we pay for it. There is library, sports complex, gym, swimming pool, free internet.
Campus life is great here. You will miss campus after visit here. There are many societies and clubs in which students are engaged for extra curricular activities and technical knowledge. There is a mentor or head of every society or club which is one of teacher of our institute and our campus is full of greenery and fully safe.
Hello aspirant,
NIT Kurukshetra JEE Main Cutoff 2024 for SC category candidates varies depending on the branch and quota (Home State or Other State). However, based on the previous year's trends, you can expect a cutoff in the range of 300-500 marks for SC female candidates from Haryana to get admission to NIT Kurukshetra.
It's important to note that the actual cutoff may vary depending on several factors, including the difficulty level of the JEE Main exam, the number of applicants, and the number of seats available.
Therefore, it's advisable to aim for a higher score to increase your chances of securing a seat in your desired branch.
I hope this information helps.
Hello,
A rank between 30,000 to 50,000 in category rank would stand an SC female candidate good for some scope at NIT Kurukshetra for Mechanical Engineering through JEE 2025. Admissions would depend significantly on the cutoffs released every year.
In terms of marks, this translates to around a score of 120-150 in JEE Main. Again, this too depends on multiple factors such as how challenging the paper is, how much seat availability, and the extent of applicants. Since the cutoff keeps changing every year, one should target higher and not less; score 150+ for maximal chances of getting your desired branch and institute.
Hello from Careers360,
Thank you for reaching out about NIT Kurukshetra admissions. I appreciate your forward-thinking approach in considering your options for 2025.
Regarding your question about the sufficiency of 150 marks for admission to mechanical, electronics, or electrical engineering at NIT Kurukshetra as an SC female candidate from Punjab, it's important to note that predicting cutoffs for future years can be challenging. Admission trends can change from year to year based on various factors such as the number of applicants, overall performance in the entrance exam, and changes in reservation policies.
That being said, 150 marks is generally considered a competitive score for SC category students. However, the exact cutoffs for 2025 will depend on the competition that year. It's also worth noting that different branches may have different cutoffs, with some being more competitive than others.
To give you a better idea, I'd recommend looking at the cutoff trends for NIT Kurukshetra over the past few years. This information is usually available on their official website or on our Careers360 college page. Analyzing these trends can help you gauge your chances more accurately.
Additionally, as an SC female candidate from Punjab, you may benefit from multiple reservation categories, which could potentially improve your chances of admission.
For the most up-to-date and accurate information, I encourage you to keep an eye on the official NIT Kurukshetra website and the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) website as your target year approaches. These will provide the most reliable data on cutoffs and admission criteria.
