Classrooms are good and their sitting capacity is also good. Solar panels and A.C. are installed in each department. In each hostel LAN facility is provided but they are not working properly. Availability of books in library is well although sitting arrangement is not so good.
Teaching quality is average. The time availability for completing the course is not enough and teachers have to complete the syllabus on the time and they teach us to the point and they ddo not go in the deep of the course
The overall placement is good in NIT KURUKSHETRA but the placement is only in some branches and the average package is around 5 lakh. The are some companies which come for recruitment like Flipkart, Amazon, Maruti, L&T, Samsung etc.
The cost of course depends on the category and it costs around 1.5 lakh pa excluding mess charges. There are lots of charges in the mess and qualities of food is very poor and medical facilities for emergency is not good.
Overall campus life and location are good. It has no transport facility within the campus and there are lots of restrictions by the security staff. The students are not allowed to have vehicles with them.
Civil engineering department is the oldest department of NIT Kurukshetra and the availability of no. permanent and temporary teaching faculty is enough and there is the criteria of 75% of attendance in each course.
Classrooms are extremely good with a good sitting capacity and also A.C. are installed in each room which run on solar energy . All time wi-fi facility available in Library and CCN .In hostels LAN facility is provided .There is a sports ground and a gym where you can fresh your mind and a market to hang around.
Overall teaching quality is average as the time for teaching the course is not enough and teachers have to complete the syllabus in time so they do not go deep in the subject . Also some of the subject is not related and syllabus is also not properly managed . Yes it will definitely add something in you so that you will be prepared for the Industry.
A very good placement percentage with more than 95% and average package of 7-8 lakhs . Highest package can go near about 25 or more depending upon your skills and company. Some of the companies which come for recruitment are flipkart ; Amazon ; Maruti ; Bajaj ; TCS ; CDAC; etc.
es definitely it is a good college which can provide you a good platform and fee of course is near about 6-7 lakhs vary depending upon your family annual income so in this you can say that this is the best college and you will get name and fame of the college .
The north India's one the biggest cultural fest is held here and a technical fest and sports meet also organised every year. Campus is in kurukshetra and it is near about the chandigarh .
Mechanical engineering is all about the machines and it is interesting to know about the working of the automobile and other various machines . It can be improve by providing a good curriculum in a systematic way .
It's good, 300 acre campus, very satisfying. Have a swimming pool of Olympics size. Have a huge sports complex. Campus is very good and large. Classrooms are air-conditioned. We do have an OAT as well.
Mechanical Branch is worst in terms of academics, Sorry to say, but that's true, only some of teachers are good enough to teach quality of students NIT have. Moreover this branch has broken all records in no. Of reappears.
Placements are good, but they can be better. Many good companies come in campus to recruit. Around 90 percent of the eligible students get placed , but there are some good companies that do not visit the campus as well, so I'd say they can be better.
Average. Completely Average. Teaching in mechanical isn't as good as the standard of an institution of national importance should be. Other facilities are good. 2 marks deducted for teaching and that depression due to teaching.
Best 3 years of my life till now probably, You'll get every kind of person, you'll surely find someones of your kind. Campus life is tooooooo awesome, super awesome hostel life. 5/5 marks , because I really liked it.

I am a student of information technology as i have always aspired to be highlighted as a software developer curriculum is updated and staff is good with all concepts thoroughly understood the study indeed makes a novice apt enough to grab a job
Placement is good as of my internship drive experience there came a huge number of companies for hiring interns and the placement cell has laid great efforts for grabbing the attention of mncs and several reputed companies.
All kind of facilities are available in our college like ATM ,market etc..our classroom is good and AC is also available in classroom ... Various department offer all the required ( conventional) courses to the student apart from several inter departmental courses to be chosen as elective. The course have standard syllabus and also lab structure (if any).
There is good campus placement in our college.but mostly in private sectors. Less government public sectors undertaking companies are come for giving jobs. In CS, IT and ECE depp. Packages is too good ..and in mechanical, electrical, civil and PE depp. Packages are avg.
Well actually semester fee distribute in different different categories like- For General category and OBC category, annual income is more than 5lacs they will pay Rs-70k to 80k, and less than 1lacs for general category or SC/ST they will paying 12k approx..
Campus life is awesome..our college is good in extracurricular activities ( like- Autokriti, techspardha i.e. technical fest and sports ( Inter hostel, ITUSA, Inter NIT and many more every year sports meet is conducted by college and almost every game presented.
NIT college is very nice college. If you join this type of college your future is secure. There is every things present in our college to improve your any type skills...

Good infrastructure and facilities ,all labs have newly installed equipments, even classrooms are spacious and air conditioning with good ACs . All hostels have wifi or LAN services which give average speed .
I'm studying Btech Production & Industrial Engineering , teachers have very good knowledge ,but the way of delivering knowledge is boring and monotonous. Curriculum is revised recently but not updated to industrial level .But development is going on .ISRO has signed MOU to open a research centre in NIT KKR. Studies not make you job ready but the workshops going on ,time to time provide a real industrial experience. Industrial visit are organised by the department at regular intervals.
Placements are good at 97% but not in core sector. Average package is 6 lacks per annum. Highest package is 21 lakhs in PSU in MECHANICAL engineering. College is supportive in placement process & process is easy and pleasant.
Campus is located at outskirts of city .The city is not good for urban lifestyle people.
NIT KKR labs are fully equipped with necessary equipment. There aste alot of facilities including library (ditilized as well), sports Complex, Lan facility hostels. There are 11 boys hostel and a separate set of 3 hostels are provided for freshers
I am studying civil here and i am pretty much sure that it's one of the best college. Faculty is very experienced and believe in interactive study. Curriculum is fully updated considering the need for the today's generation
Placement for civil is not as gud as other branches. But for branches like computer, it, ec ;placement ratio is very high and they all got aa very good package. Avg. Package in civil Engg. in this Institute is 5-6 lacs.
Infrastructure is quite satisfactory according to me. They provide us fully air conditioning rooms. Wifi facilities are provided only in library and ccn. Lan is provide in hostel room. We have also a health center.
The quality of education they provide to us are not satisfactory. Most of them are not interested in teaching. But some of them(very few) are interested in teaching and the knowledge of subject is very good.
Placement here is not good enough since last one year due to reduction of economy growth. Companies which are coming to our camps they don't offers enough salary. This all experience is regard to mechanical engineering all other branches like cs and it. They don't have these kind of issues.
I don't think that the time and money we invest here make sense in case of learning if new things because the only thing I don't like is the quality of education. But if we don't consider the education then it's satisfactory.
The campus life and as well hostel life are quite satisfactory students are good. Some teacher are very helpful person and staff are very supportive in nature. It's completely safe because every where gaurds and they are commited.
It's good college overall. I think the quality of education is disturbed in almost 90 percent of colleges so if we don't bother about the education then I think it's very good place. The various temple are here and it's very peaceful.
College infrastructure, facilities, service and equipment all are well maintained. College have big sports center with varieties of games like cricket, football, volleyball, basketball, badminton etc.
Some of our professor have great way of teaching. There are lot of machine for practical. Varieties of subjects we have to study to develope our technical skills which will help during training and placement.
Here of placement Quality is outstanding. (Specially for CSE an IT). Students with mechanical profile also placed with good package. The average salary for mechanical and production engineering is about 6 lakhs.
The course cost almost 25000 per year. However course's cost depends upon the family's income. If we are studying with full dedication then surely these money's worth as the placement record of this college is above 90 %
College have big campus with variation. The college campus have big swimming pool. A lot of technical event and cultural event has been organized for students which will helps students to develope their soft skills
Hello aspirant,
NIT Kurukshetra JEE Main Cutoff 2024 for SC category candidates varies depending on the branch and quota (Home State or Other State). However, based on the previous year's trends, you can expect a cutoff in the range of 300-500 marks for SC female candidates from Haryana to get admission to NIT Kurukshetra.
It's important to note that the actual cutoff may vary depending on several factors, including the difficulty level of the JEE Main exam, the number of applicants, and the number of seats available.
Therefore, it's advisable to aim for a higher score to increase your chances of securing a seat in your desired branch.
I hope this information helps.
Hello,
A rank between 30,000 to 50,000 in category rank would stand an SC female candidate good for some scope at NIT Kurukshetra for Mechanical Engineering through JEE 2025. Admissions would depend significantly on the cutoffs released every year.
In terms of marks, this translates to around a score of 120-150 in JEE Main. Again, this too depends on multiple factors such as how challenging the paper is, how much seat availability, and the extent of applicants. Since the cutoff keeps changing every year, one should target higher and not less; score 150+ for maximal chances of getting your desired branch and institute.
