UPES B.Tech Admissions 2025
ApplyRanked #42 among Engineering colleges in India by NIRF | Highest CTC 50 LPA , 100% Placements
Our hostels are facilitated with Wi-Fi and LAN, which are provided 24*7. The hostel mess strictly follows the menu provided. Fees for the hostel and mess are quite reasonable. The college provides a lot of sports equipment for both indoor and outdoor games, but only one common playground is there for many sports.
Labs: There are dedicated labs for each subject, whichever requires experiments. There is 24/7 Wi-Fi available throughout the campus. A central library is in operation that opens at 9 a.m. in the morning and closes at 10 p.m. It contains all sorts of books from magazines, newspapers, etc. In addition to course books, there is an application called M-Library that has over 3,00,000 e-books for the assistance of students. Classrooms are spacious, but the condition is not so good. Hostel facilities: There are 5 boys and 1 girls hostel.
The facilities in our college are very less as it is the smallest campus in total NITs. The infrastructure is just average. But the Wi-Fi facilities are quite good. Wi-Fi signal is available everywhere on our campus. The quality of food is worse for the people from south India.
In most cases, leaving a 5-year integrated M.Tech program after the B.Tech portion (usually after 4 years) to pursue an M.Tech elsewhere through GATE is not possible.
Integrated programs are designed as a complete package, with the B.Tech portion leading seamlessly into the M.Tech specialization. Exiting after the B.Tech portion might disrupt the curriculum and might not grant you a standalone B.Tech degree.
Universities often have regulations that don't allow students to exit integrated programs midway.
Carefully review the regulations or brochures related to the 5-year integrated M.Tech program at NIT Patna. Look for sections on program structure, exit options, or award of degrees. Reach out to the admissions office or program coordinator at NIT Patna. They can give you the most accurate information about leaving the program after the B.Tech portion.

I hope it helps!
Hello student,
if you scored 88.5 percentile but you belong from the general category, then it will be tough to get NIT Patna. However, if you belong to reserved category like the ST, then you have a chance to get through.
If you want only NIT Patna and you belong to other categories, then I suggest that you sit for the second attempt in the April session to imrpve your score and increase your chances.
