NIT SILCHAR has an overall area of 610 acres which includes two sports complex,more than 10 lakes,one digital library and more than 15 hostels. All infrastructure are well maintained and clean and they are well developed.

The academic culture of the college is average.There is an academic pressure in the college but we can handle the situation with time.I am in the 2nd year of the electrical department and as we know it is toughest branch of engineering.

The placement of the college is really great and most of the students were placed in the top companies.The top companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Infosys,Wipro etc.The average package salary is approx 14-20lpa.

The college infrastructure of the college is improving over the years.The college has 2 badminton courts,one lawn tennis,one table tennis, cricket ground, football ground etc, Hostels are hygenic and good for the students to stay in.

Currently I am in 2 year pursuing btech in electrical engineering.I have came from Bangladesh to India through Dasa examination and I really like the education environment of the college and also the students were very helpful.

The placement of the college is very good and is equivalent to the top colleges of the Bangladesh.Top companies offer a huge amount of package to the students and they are successful in grabbing such offers.

I am in the second year of the electrical department of the college.From my one year experience, the professors are helpful and downward to earth people.The professors are very good in nature and they helped me a lot in my studies.

We will say that Infrastructure is good. Engaging extracurricular activities enhance the overall experience. The faculty is supportive and motivational.overall It can be considered well in all the aspects.

The current curriculum, leans towards theoretical aspects and requires updates to incorporate recent developments. Despite this, the overall learning experience is positive, fostering foundational knowledge in the electronics field.

Hostels are well maintained and hygenic.
