NIT Mizoram Facilities

Boys Hostel
NIT Mizoram offers separate hostels for boys. It currently offers four hostels for accommodation. They provide mess and recreational facilities, along with internet connectivity. Students can enjoy their stay at the hostel while pursuing their course studies in the institute.
Girls Hostel
NIT Mizoram offers separate hostels for girls. They provide mess and recreational facilities, along with internet connectivity. Students can enjoy their stay at the hostel while pursuing their course studies in the institute.
Library
The institute’s central library has collections of Textbooks, e-Books, Reference books, Journals from research scholars, Annual report, Magazines, and non-book material such as CD-ROMS, etc. It holds more than 7000 educational books, which are as per the course requirement of the various semesters of different departments. Students and staff can use the library for reference purposes as well as to learn.
Sports
NIT Mizoram gives an opportunity to the students to participate in various sports and games in order to develop team spirit and be motivated to take part in sports for their physical and mental well-being.
Transport Facility
NIT Mizoram provides bus services to the students, staff and faculty for their transportation from different parts of the city. The institute has leased out 7 buses for transporting the students who are staying in the hostels. These buses have been deputed to bring the students to and from the hostel to the institution every day and drop them back at the hostel after classes to make their transport easier and more reliable.
Medical/Hospital
Health Care Centre of NIT Mizoram is engaged with 1 doctor and 1 nurse with other support staff. The institute provides proper health care facilities to its students and staff, and in case of medical emergencies, the institute has leased out 2 emergency vans for 24/7, which are permanently deputed in the hostels along with a driver. In emergency situations, there are two government hospitals near the institute.
Laboratories
The institution has laboratories with modern amenities and has the latest and modern equipment for the students.

College Infrastructure

The Institute provide us with all the necessities infrastructure, equipments and facilities which can enhance our stay and academic. The Institute has hostels, proper mess, sports facilities, classrooms which can accommodate more than 70 students with proper seats. The hostel and mess are clean and hygienic. All the equipments are well maintained and available for each students.

Overall experience is good.

College Infrastructure

Wi-Fi is poor in hostel, we have to buy our own personal connection most commonly airtel extreme. Labs are not that well-equipped. The library is well stocked but sometimes we face problems in availability of some books. The quality of food has improved over time. We are going to leave block 2 soon as the tenure is about to expire. The other blocks like block is the best one but still the buildings are far off.

Only for shake of NIT tag you are welcomed.

College Infrastructure

I will be honest, equipment are limited and facilities are very less. There is no smartboards in classroom. Wifi is provided in every block and library as well. In labs there are limited instruments. Equipment which are there is well maintained and used regularly. In terms of place, aizawl is very clean and beaultliful. Classrooms and washrooms are cleaned daily. Food is ok you can survive in terms of taste. Hygiene is maintained properly.

First of all why are you going to lower nits like that of the north east you should try your luck in mnnit mnit or nits of the south but coming to your question definitely nit jaipur nagpur are far better than nits of northeast you should not go there
