About NIT Raipur
National Institute of Technology Raipur (NITRR) is a public technical university was founded in 1956 by Dr Rajendra Prasad and later inaugurated in 1963 by Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru.

College Infrastructure
The infrastructure as compared to other NITs is pretty low. There is only one main building and one building for architecture. There are boy hostels only for B.Tech. and limited seats in girls hostel for Masters. The main building has access to everything, including library, labs, etc.
