NIT Srinagar does not accept the RBA (Resident Backward Area) category as it is a reservation category specific to Jammu and Kashmir and not recognized at the national level, including for admissions to central institutions like NITs so you are not able to apply.

Moreover If you belong to the RBA category, you will not be able to claim reservation benefits when applying to NIT Srinagar; you will be considered under the general category.

It depends on your thought process and the field in which you want to further pursue your study. No, there is no accommodation provided by NIT Srinagar for PG\M students. NIT Srinagar only provide hostel for First year B.Tech Students. There are separate hostel and mess for boys and girls.
