SVNIT Surat Facilities

The SVNIT Surat has a large number of facilities on campus. SVNIT Surat facilities on campus include hostels equipped with basic amenities, a canteen, a daycare centre, a health centre and a guest house. SVNIT Surat has a physical education centre that provides indoor and outdoor game facilities for basketball, cricket, football, handball, kabaddi, kho-kho, volleyball, chess, table tennis, badminton and lawn tennis.

Other SVNIT Surat facilities include a central library, auditorium, medical centre, wifi, guest house. The library has a rich collection of resources available locally on the intranet and accessible on the web. The university also has a central computer centre that caters to the internet access requirements throughout the SVNIT Surat and network connectivity throughout the campus. Boys Hostel
The SVNIT has boy’s hostel facility which provides good hostel accommodation for the students.
Girls Hostel
The SVNIT has girl's hostel facility which provides good hostel accommodation for the students.
Medical/Hospital
The institute’s health centre is managed by a residential doctor, six visiting medical consultants, two pharmacists and supporting staff. The medical unit offers treatment to students, staff and their family members. The students are also covered with group medical insurance.
Gym
The SVNIT has Gym facility for the students.
Library
The central library of SVNIT Surat was established in 1968, and since then, it has built an extensive collection of journals, books, and non-book materials. The library is fully computerized and uses global software that is maintained and regulated daily.
Sports
The SVNIT has sports facilities for all students.
I.T Infrastructure
Internet, computer center and other IT related facility available on the college campus.
Cafeteria
The SVNIT Surat campus has a canteen located behind the library building. It is open from 7 am to 7 pm on weekdays and offers a wide variety of South Indian, Chinese and Gujarati food at nominal rates.
Auditorium
The SVNIT has a library facility for all students.
Alumni Associations
The college has a good networking for the alumni association.
Wifi
The SVNIT has Wi-Fi facility for the students and staff.
Laboratories
The institute has a central computer centre that takes care of the internet access requirements throughout the campus, including administration and academic departments, hostels, staff quarters, etc. It also provides services to the T&P section to conduct online tests during the campus recruitment process.
Guest Room/Waiting Room
SVNIT Surat guest house has 12 fully furnished rooms along with television and telephone lines. It provides boarding and lodging facilities for invited guests, institute guests, staff members, visitors, newly appointed faculty members, participants attending conferences and workshops.
Banks/ATMs
The SVNIT has the Banks/ATM facilities for all students.

College Infrastructure

The infrastructure is quite good. The department has three different buildings, and all the labs required for the course, such as fluid dynamic labs, hydraulic lab , som lab , structure lab, EM lab and transporation lab.

I would it's worth it taking admission as tag of nit matters

Our college is quite old but then also infrastructure is good even now some construction work is going on of CRC and few department, hostel are also average where u get various facilities, there is dispensary also

College Infrastructure

The college infrastructure is good. There are many facilities available like sports centre, food courts, stationary shops, seminar halls and modern classrooms, auditorium, grounds for mega events or functions. The canteen food is good and economical. There are no issues related to infrastructure.
