The college has all the necessary infrastructure and facilities. The campus wifi facility available for every students. The classrooms are well maintained and campus is always well maintained by the staff. The hostel facility for girls is outstanding.
Classes are taken by professors who are well qualified. Professors from outside the campus also come to teach. The curriculum of each subject is updated according to the current business enviroment...
The placements are average due to it being a national institute... But most of the well established companies do come for campus hiring and around 70% students are hired in the campus placement. The salary package given is also good.
Thr college fees is less compared to the other mba colleges and we do get the value for the money that has been paid. As we are able to enjoy good facilities and classes are taken by well educated professors.
Campus life was the best. It is situated in very scenic location with the calicut city nearby. All the facilities are available nearby. There is movie theaters areas where you can go for a short trip.
Yes it has all necessary infrastructute, Classrooms and library facility are there. Hostels are also good enough. New hostel are also constructed. The campus is very green and hygienic. The living space is also good
Teaching quality is good. The professor are highly qualified and they have really good experience. We often get experts from corporates to guide us on latest technology and this really is helpful for overall understanding of the subject.
Placements are average it is not very good but okish. Finance and analytics people get placements easily with a good pacakage. I'm not much sure of other specialisation. For himan resources I feel the packages offered is quite less.
The fees is very affordable and it's worth
Excellent
As we were going through online classes, we didn't get chance to utilise infrastructure. But yet there laboratories and online platform services are very impressive and they always ensure there students welfare too
School of Management Studies, NIT Calicut is a nice place to learn. It increased my competencies and provided more challenging tasks. They provide a lot of talk sessions all along the academic year to get more exposure and industrial knowledge
I believe that it is not others, it is you yourself who decides your career. Even if you get placed in a startup or in a renowned company, your performance and enthusiasm in learning new things will give you a better career. And being an MBA graduate the exposure and experience matters in the long run not salary and lineage of the company.
It cost only 90k per year and they provide value in everything they do
As we were not in campus, the exact campus life was not experienced.
The college is situated in a place where we can call it is close to nature with its vast surrounding of nature. Even being in an isolated place away from the city, it has all the necessary infrastructure and facilities that should be there in an college of national importance
Currently am pursing my MBA after my UG program and it has been an exciting experience altogether. The quality of teaching are of very professional standards and with an ideology that gives the students to correlate to the real world situations.
The quality of placements are somewhat on an above average level and the salary packages are higher for students with technical background, meaning courses like CS and others. The college has an very active placement cell conducting programs to boost the skills of the students.
I think its a beautiful campus with all the required facilities like 24*7 WiFi, different messes, a clean and green campus. I am yet to explore the best of it..........................................
I am pursuing my MBA here and the quality of teaching is good. Despite the situation turning us to sit at our homes and study online, faculties have put in their best to make us understand the concepts & give us practical insights. The curriculum is up to date and is inclusive of the recent technological developments.
The Placement Cell is quite supportive(both School of Management Studies and NIT Calicut). Management Students are interning and getting placed at some of the best companies like Deloitte, TCS, Tech Mahindra, EY and banks like SBI, Federal Bank etc.
Worth your investment. Approximately 2.5 lakh in total(2 years) inclusive of hostel fee. ROI is high. With respect to what you get back in return, you won't regret what you spent.
We have different clubs operating in different fields of Management; includes academic as well as co-curricular. Students here come from a diversified background and work experience. Faculties are very much experienced, experts in their domain, approachable and supportive.
It has a great infrastructure, an excellent library, and a nice campus. It has wifi and smart board facilities. The campus is very nice. The infrastructure is good and well maintained. Hostel facilities are also good
If you are good at academics, you can here too. They offer various course. The library and digital library are very helpful. Can't completely depend on the faculties for academics for PG courses. Self study should be alse considered.
Placements are poor due to the current situation for MBA. Placements are average for School of Management Studies, National Institute of Calicut. There is a placement cell and they are working their best to attain 100% placements.
The college has all necessary facilities like wifi, indoor courts, libraries, labs, hostels, hygenic food. The Campus has bus transportation facility and also a gym wor workout. There are many outdoor courts and grounds
Since it is a national institute its academic standard is pretty high. We Have libraries and e learnings to help us academically. Also the quality of the faculties are really top class this provides apportunity for overall academic development
The placement is pretty good for mba even though it is lesser than btech. Many reputed companies like tcs , tech mahindra , deolite etc come for recruitment in MBA department with an average of 6lpa last year
Since it is a national institute., it has high value for money courses offered, when compared to many private institutions. Also there is opportunity to avail scholorships and stipends for the deserving candidates
Campus life is amazing. A lot of festivals like ragam which is one of the biggest college fests in India. Many sports , arts and other recreational activities are also available. The location of the campus is also good.
The college has good infrastructure and facilities that aid in studies. The libraries are accessible to all and WiFi is also available in hostel. The living spaces are also clean and hygienic and everything is well-maintained.
I'm currently doing MBA and the quality of teaching is very good. The teaching styles are different but there is a focus on practical aspects and examples while teaching. The curriculum is well updated and the course do make us job ready.
The quality of placement in the college is really good. The salary packages offered are all good and comparatively higher. The college cell is very supportive of the placement processes and will guide you through each.
I do feel like I'm getting more than my money's worth here. The fee is adequate for the course and the standard of education and name I get from here really is an additional benefit to the money spent.
I have not gone to the campus specifically due to the pandemic but even through online there are many activities conducted for student engagements. Fests and webinars included. The staffs and students are all supportive of each other.
The institution has highly maintained infrastructure, which combines historic building with contemporary facilities as the college dates back to the old REC. Each hostel room is equipped with Wi-Fi and LAN internet access. The food and living space is well maintained and hostel provides very good delicious food.
The quality of education is very good. The faculties in the institution is very good. The curriculum matches the newest education trends and constantly improves as education practices evolve. They also promote entrepreneurship.
Placement is good with many reputed firms visit the institution with good packages and the college placement and training center has respected capabilities with years of experience in managing. They provide excellent training before placements.
Yes, my college has a lot of facilities including good laboratories, clean classrooms and sports centers. Our college also provides good hostels including tasty mess foods. But the library facilities of our college is not that much good, there are no enough books which is in our syllabus and also there is no enough copies and existing copies are of an older edition. There is both indoor and outdoor facilities for sports activities.
The quality of teaching is good in our department. But even though, some of the subjects are taught by the visiting faculties who don't have proper teaching skills. Also, even some permanent staff don't cover the portions properly. So overall academics is just ok and it's not up to the national institute level.
The placement of our department is also not up to the national institute level. only 60% percent of students will be got on-campus placements, but that is not with a satisfactory salary. NIT campus is providing less number of placement.
The fees of the course are only 1.8 lakh totally, which is less compared to other MBA colleges in Kerala. Even with this salary, they offer placement of an average of 5 LPA, which has a high ROI. Students can avail scholarship opportunities.
The experience of the college is really good because there is a lot of good events and a lot of activities in the college. Students will get a lot of opportunities to participate in different activities, and everyone can utilize the college facilities.

Hello aspirant,
With 86.45 percentile in JEE Main 2025 and SC category , your expected rank would be around 55,000–60,000 (CRL) and 4,000–5,000 (SC rank) .
For NIT Calicut (CS branch) , the SC category closing rank in previous years was around 1,500–2,000 . Since your SC rank might be above 4,000 , getting CSE at NIT Calicut seems difficult . However, you may get other branches like Civil, Chemical, or Mechanical .
Advice
: Wait for official cutoffs, check CS in newer NITs or other top GFTIs.

Hello,
Given the previous years' cutoffs, securing a seat in the B.Arch programs at NIT Trichy and NIT Calicut with a JEE Main B.Arch rank of 2,212 may be challenging. However, cutoffs can vary each year based on factors like the number of applicants, seat availability, and overall performance.
