The academic infrastructure is quite good and provides advanced facilities apart from the general basic amenities. However the hostel and residential area needs to be improved further so that the students can focus better on studies.

I'm studying Metallurgical and Materials Engineering at Nit ROURKELA. The teaching quality is good. The professors are very well versed with the course content and provide valuable insights song with the regular classroom teaching.

Placements have been good till the last year. This year students faced certain problems due to the covid 19 pandemic and hence the percentage of placed students was a bit less. However the trainning and placements committee did a commendable job.

The cost of course and living is very much affordable at NIT ROURKELA campus Rourkela. The academic as well as hostel and extra curricular activities is very much affordable for the middle class students.

Campus life is the best part at Nit ROURKELA especially. There are numerous opportunities for a student to do so much in any thing that interests him or her. The rich club culture of NITR attracts so many people.

One can surely take admission at National institute of technology ROURKELA if he or she wants to do something great in life without really waiting for opportunities as many opportunities come your way.

Here the college infrastructure is very good. We have all the facilities here. We have separate labs for separate subjects. Most of the classrooms are big and well maintained. Library is also vry good. Hostel rooms are also very good but due to less number of girls hostel we face some difficulties but that's manageable. Sports areas are huge . We have lan connection in every room of the hostel. Here the mess food is good.

The quality of teaching here differs from person to person and department to department. So in our department in life science department all the professors are very good and helpful. They follow the curriculum. The thing which i personally don't like in this curriculum is to include mechanics, electrical and electronics in a life science students curriculum and to include biology in an engineering student's curriculum.

Here the quality of placement is quite good. Most of the students who apply for placement get placed. And mostly computer science department students get good packages. Most of the students get good companies. Though i haven't experienced it yet but i have an idea from my seniors and friends.

For my course i pay almost 1 lakh per yr including the mess fees,hostel fees and other. So i think yeah that worth the money.

Here campus life is outstanding. A lot of clubs are here to engage students in different ways. Students join different clubs according to their interest. The campus is totally safe. Location is little away from the main market . The placeis so calm and quite. Here all the member of this institution is very helpful.

I am having a great experience here. The extracurricular activities make students more cheerful. The fests and other events are very good here. And every student definitely miss this campus after passing out.

Infrastructure in NIT Rourkela is more than sufficient for a student. The lecture halls, library, laboratories everything is good and better than other colleges. Appart from academic infrastructure swimming pool, playgrounds, indoor stadium, tennis, basketball courts, Gym ets are available . Food is varies from hostel to hostel. Hostel and washrooms are always maintained.

Academic is one of the area which you have to take care about here. You won't get anything free here you have to earn every single mark. You have to take every test every lab seriously. Academic diversity is one of the main attraction in this college.

Placements are good compared to other colleges of same tag line. Every year almost more than 80 percent students get placed and rest choose higher studies rather than placements. Highest salary which is about 43 lacks for CS and average for undergraduate students is about 6 lacks according to NIRF.

ROI of this college is very good. What matters in the long run is your degree and the tag line.

Now the best part of NITR is its campus life. The night life and hostel life is awesome here. There are various clubs for various extracurricular activities like dance , singing, acting, coding, robotics etc . The fest and the festivals are also stress relief for everyone here. Students spend more time on their extracurricular then class hours.

Every year almost thousands of students think to be here but only a few get the opportunity. If you get the opportunity then don't miss it.

I think it's one of the best colleges out there with the best infrastructure and very hygiene. There are building for each of the department and well maintained also with proper lifts and cleanliness also.

The professors are very good and they teach us in very much detail. Everyone is very skilled in their part and they teach very well. They have the knowledge that you may not find in any other part of the country.

A nice placement history with good packages and most of the people get placed. Big companies like Google, Adobe, Microsoft, and many more come for the placement. Packages for the mass recruiter is also high.

It was so less for a semester and all those facilities with that much amount of money is so nice.

The campus had everything that you need and also has transportation to go out.

NIT Rourkela has the best infrastructure. One can find all types of facilities such as sports, labs, libraries anything they want. They are all used and properly well maintained. Hostels are in good conditions and food is very hygienic. Workers keep the hostels cleaned.

I'm pursuing architecture at NIT Rourkela. The Professors are highly qualified. They are very cooperative. The quality of teaching is very good. The curriculum get updated in the span of few years, according to the necessity of the time. All curriculum makes the student ready for job.

The quality of placement is good. Specially for computer science and electronics branch students. But anyhow all the students got placed. Min 90% of the total students get placements. The Highest package was 42 lakh and it went to Electronics branch. The average salary offered was 7lakh. The placement process is easy and pleasant. The college is very supportive.

Cost per year is very High. It's approximately 2.5 lakh per year. Unless one has a income certificate, it's very expensive to study here. But the education and facilities everything is worth of money.

The best thing in NITR is you get the exposure one can expect from a central government University. The worst thing is the attendance. 85% attandance is mandatory. Other activities like clubs and fest are good. You can find variety of clubs here. The college is well located and we'll secured. Approximately 200 security guards are here at every corner of the campus. The campus itself has its own bank, health center everything so no need to worry.

The classrooms in our college are spacious with an average capacity of 70-80 students.Some classrooms have tower AC's installed.Our laboratories are well equipped with all the necessary devices.Our libraries have thousands of books which can be utilised by the students to enhance their knowledge in their choice of domain.The sports centres are large and are well maintained.The food is average and prepared with full hygiene.Our hostel rooms and corridors are cleaned every alternate day.

Metallurgical and materials engineering is one of the oldest branches of NIT Rourkela. All the professors of our branch are highly educated and have completed their higher studies from foreign universities or IIT's.Our curriculum is good except the inclusion of subjects like Biology,Psychology,Sanskrit which are in no way going to help us in our field.

The placements are good,almost 80-85% students get placed with an average package of 6-7 lpa generally.The highest package offered was 41 lpa by Microsoft in Computer Science branch.In Metallurgy, the highest package offered was 11 lpa and the avetage package of branch was 6-7 lpa.

It costs around 8 lacs approx for BTech and 10 lacs for BTech-MTech dual degree.

The institute area is at the center of the campus. Every classroom,libraries ,laboratories are well equipped and well maintained .Yes all the living spaces are clean and food hygienic .and in room Wi-Fi is also available

Because quality of teaching is good and teacher's also have great knowledge and And all staff and faculty are also well qualified they clear our doubt, conduct tutorials class for better understanding and are very helpful

Yes college have 100% placement and college is also very supportive .they shared all the important updates about the companies They inform us each every detail of the company and teacher's are also very supportive .they provide us with new ideas and project in which we can work .

I am paying 64000 per year. Yaa it is money worth Because the has all facilities and we'll equipped technology smart class and placement is also good and food quality is also very good. It also conduct various program tournament

Campus life is amazing it has one cricket ground one football ground one basketball ground one central gym one for long tennis and a each hostels has gym and badminton court location is fantastic 3 4 restaurant

Yes,In our college all the necessities are there like infrastructure, equipment etc. We have well equipped laboratory with central AC also in Class room.There are various sports stadium in our college like Cricket, Football, Hockey etc...And also Indoor sports stadium like badminton, Table tennis are also there.

I am studying in computer science and engineering in this college.I am studying in this trade because I am interested in Software developing.Quality of teaching is also very good.Yes, our curriculum is updated.

In our college there are approximately 95-100 % placement in all the year.Highest salary package offerd by Microsoft It is 42.5 lpa and it is a computer science student. Average salary offered by company is 10-12 LPA .

Nit Rourkela is well known for it's lush green campus and also equipped with best facilities like swimming pool, cricket ground, library and 24*7 internet facilities. The main building is well know for various academic works and also vs HALL is regarded as the second best hostel in Asia that can accomodate large number of students. The food is good and hygenic. You will get non-veg every day except monday. On sunday you will get chicken tandoor in nonveg which is very delicious.

I am pursuing my btech in industrial design department that includes basically designing softwares where you can work as UI/UX designer in the future. The quality of teaching is not good at all. Most of the professors tends to teach through slides and ppt. But the examination department is very strict ,they easily impose penalty for a small mistake also. Yes curriculum is updated but the fact is that the professors don't teach the whole syllabus, they skip most of the syllabus.

Beleive me when it's come to placement statistics, Ican assure you that you will definitely get placed if you work a little hard. Most of the IT companies comes to recruit thousands of students. Microsoft generall offer the highest placement package that is 42 lakhs/annum while the lowest is offered by TCS or Wipro(mass recruitment). Average salary generally offered to the students is generally 6 lakhs per annum.

The academic course cost 62,500 rupees per semester and the hostel charges, food, gym, library, etc cost rupees 30,000 per semester, so the total fees for the whole semester is 92,500. I am satisfied with the hostel charges and its facilities, but when it comes to academics the professors are not worth and they don't even guide you how to prepare for competitive exam. But there are some exceptional professors also.

Students can take parts in various clubs and SAC is well known for funding the clubs and organising various cultural events. The wprst feature is that it does not have groundsmen to maintain the fields as a result seniors will force you to work day and night in order to maintain the ground while mathches are conducted. Yes , it's quite safe with lush green campus and the workers are also too hardworking and helpful in nature. Yes, it can handle emergencies and Igh is THERE FOR MEDICAL SUPPORT.

College provides you facilities of spacious digital classrooms with complete vantilation, hygenic food in mess, LAN for internet connectivity, hostel, huge library with soo many books, playing ground, labs and etc

faculty members are highly qualified and knowledgeable. Most of the faculties are nice and supportive to all the students. They always ready to help students whether it is related to study or any other activities.

Every year around 80 to 85% students get placed from college. Top companies visit our college to recruit final year students. Highest salary package comes around 25 to 30 LPA and lowest packages comes around 5 to 7 LPA every year.
